Wine Cellars & Home Bars

Bespoke fitted and freestanding furniture to perfectly store or display your collection

Many of the interiors we design include beautiful living-dining-entertaining areas, and our Joinery team are often asked to build accompanying wine cellars, wine rooms, wine storage systems and home bars. Our Design team will work out the required details and then the home can be transformed with a welcoming space for entertaining or storing your prized collections.

All of our projects start with a detailed consultation – we’ll need to have a good idea of how many bottles will need to be stored, whether the shelving is to be horizontal or angled, and what storage temperatures will be required. Separate areas may be constructed for different temperature requirements. Here, the combined skill of our Joinery and Design teams will be brought to the fore, with the use of mixed materials, perhaps marble or quartz for any bar surfaces, and a variety of veneers, perhaps with inlays and trims, for the cabinetry.

For stand-alone wine chillers or fridges, our Joinery team can create a bespoke unit to house that appliance, which can also be combined with an adjoining bespoke home bar. Our Design team are able to source a suitable wine chiller, and will ensure the design includes provision for appropriate flooring, ventilation, and connectivity. Integral lighting can also be included within the bespoke cabinetry, adding to the stylish look of a home bar.

If a new wine cellar is required our teams will get to work on the logistics of adding a cellar to a home, or designing a cellar space elsewhere in the home. The Joinery team has converted utility spaces, under-stairs storage areas and other unused spaces into climate-controlled, accessible and practical wine cellars. It may be as straightforward as the team building the cabinets and fitting out an existing space, or they may need to partition and build a whole new room.

Based in North London, our workshop has a team of highly skilled craftsmen working with the latest equipment to sculpt wood, glass, marble, stone and metals, including bronze, brass, chrome and nickel, fabrics, leathers, wallpapers and other specialist finishes. We also have our own spray room which allows us to offer a spraying service in any colour or stain including gloss, matt, liquid metal, stained timber and mirror finishes.
